Happy National Volunteer Appreciation Week!

What does it take to run a 70,000 square foot community center and an entire city block without a single dollar of tax revenue? Well, you know, you need a maintenance team, and a programming team, an IT team, an HR team, and a mechanic team, and a cleaning team, and a grounds team, and a marketing team, and an accounting team, and several administrative assistants, and graphic designers and copywriters, and an event team, and a space rental team, and a fundraising team..

Ooops. That all takes a huge amount of money! What’s a community center to do??? Thinking….thinking….

VOLUNTEERS. Of course! TEAMS of THEM.

This year, as Town Square Community Center gears up for its 10th Anniversary in 2022, we’re pumping up the volume on volunteers. Everyone who has done it so far can tell you one thing: It’s FUN. And it’s even more fun when you’re on a TEAM.

Since we can only have so many teams, we’re taking the KISS approach...keeping it simple with four key teams: The Mission Control Team, The Weed Team, The Building Team, and The Event Team. You’ll love working with the energetic team leaders! Meet them and Join a team below.
