Can U Screw in a Lightbulb?

Super Easy, Super Fun, Sometimes Silly

Come to Town Square’s Volunteer Party on May 28

Do you know how to:

  • Screw in a lightbulb?

  • Serve a hot dog?

  • Yank weeds?

  • Smile?

  • Put on a blow-up dinosaur suit?

If you said YES to any of the above, Town Square needs YOU. It’s All Hands On Deck as we start our busiest season yet at our amazing community center. We are lean, not so mean, and a big part of the scene here in Green Lake. With 15 GIANT events and many, many programs, it takes many, many hands and hearts to run Town Square Community Center. Without people like you, it would just plain not be happening.

Did you know that people visit Town Square more than 40,000 times each year? So, we’ll be needing 40,000 volunteers….JUST KIDDING...but seriously, we could use every one of you we can get. The care and feeding of 40,000 visitors is a little MUCH for our staff of two. (click here to find out how to become number three

Just this past weekend, volunteers Andysaurus Maes and Trentasaurus Hazelberg entertained kids at the Crossroads Parking Lot Party in preparation for Town Square’s Dino Daze on June 12

How do you get involved? Where do you start? Find the answer on Friday, May 29 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Show You Care Volunteer Party. Best of all, meet other people who are as cool as you are. Fun. Generous. Living Life.

Are you a current or past volunteer? Definitely be there -- so many new, fun opportunities await you. Are you THINKING about volunteering? Totally, Definitely be there--because now’s the time. Come on...you know you want to. We’ll be gentle with you. And our new board member and volunteer charmer Claire Maes will hold your hand and find you a job that makes you HAPPY!
