BINGO IS BACK
Bingo is back...in FORCE….and that Force will be with You as you join family, friends and, of course, Bethann Vaubel and her Bingo Bunch for Star Wars Bingo on Saturday May 29.
Appearing as Princess Leia, Bethann, along with costume-clad cohorts, will be playing to win the nearly $1,100 jackpot, which could go higher as the night progresses.
You don’t have to dress up to play bingo, but the Bingo Bunch makes a party of bingo every month. It’s always on Bethann’s calendar, and the bunch uses it as a way to keep a regular get-together date, and keep the camaraderie going throughout the month, planning costumes, table decorations and group prizes.
The ever-growing Bingo Bunch includes Bethann plus Kathy McCarthy, Jane Lind, Gloria Lichtfuss, plus Debby Gonyo, Cathy Sponholtz and Dawn Folker. Fun!
Bethann is a true Town Square “groupie.” A retired high school math teacher, she has now decided to become a student. And Town Square is her schoolhouse. She taken on a quadruple major: Mission Control, Yoga, Cooking and Shopping. You’ll find her delightful and smiling face here at the Town Square desk, in yoga classes, in cooking classes and frequently shopping at Hangers Resale.
New to Mission Control, Bethann likes getting to know the behind the scenes scoop. “I like the ability to have the four hour time slot - check out what’s happening. I like pitching in,” she explains. “Someone brought in some things to donate and it turned out I’d tutored her grandsons and her daughter went to college with two of them. Small world. Those are the takeaways that come from being around. She was thanking me for doing desk job and I was thanking her for bringing donations.”
