Volunteers Raise $3,000 in Bail Money

One of our Leaders of the Pack, Phil Burkart.

A giant thanks to our gang of volunteers for doing time helping with Town Square’s Jail Sale on Garage Sale Weekend last Friday and Saturday, cleaning out the old jail, and raising money for community center programs. Yes, the deals were criminal, but these kind folks paid it forward, schlepping, pricing and selling, and nabbing more than $3,000 to support Town Square by the end of the weekend. That’s some serious Bail Money!

Huge hugs to our partners in crime: Leaders of the Pack Phil and Linda Burkart, along with gang members Larry Gundrum, Dan Hill, Brigid Yeomans, Claire Maes, Ami Gerstein, Bethann Vaubel, Carol Reindl, Tonya Alling, Diane Rogahn, Marge Bostelmann, Mary Cyrier, Kari Schleicner, and Kelly and Tyler Sheveland.

Many thanks also to all of the kind people who helped us prove that crime DOES pay by cleaning out their hidden treasures and donating them, helping our community center raise even more loot.
