Hatha Yoga

Embark on a journey of balance, strength, and tranquility with our Hatha Yoga sessions. This class emphasizes physical postures and breathing techniques, harmonizing both body and mind. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, our sessions are tailored to cater to all levels. Alongside improving flexibility and stress relief, participants can expect to cultivate inner balance and wellness. Classes encompass a mix of asanas, breathwork, and meditation, ensuring holistic well-being for all attendees. Join us every Tuesday at 6 pm and be part of a community that shares a passion for wellness and yoga. Your path to rejuvenation and inner peace begins here.

Hello! I’m Melissa Bending!

ABOUT ME

Wife, Mom, Friend, Dance Mom, Volunteer are just a few of my favorite ways to describe myself.

While I acknowledge the convenience of practicing fitness at home, my heart has always leaned towards the allure of group fitness classes. The absence of distractions, the atmosphere, and the shared sense of purpose among a group committed to self-care holds a special place for me. Zumba, Dance, Barre and Yoga are just a few of my favorites. I have practiced yoga for many years and have certified as a Yoga Instructor through the Oshkosh YMCA. I recently founded Bending Yoga with the hopes of bringing yoga to my local communities.

As someone with a Type A personality, I find that practicing yoga provides me with a valuable opportunity to calm my mind, reduce stress, and foster a deeper connection between my mental & physical well being. Taking the time to “Fill my cup” through practicing Yoga allows me to be a better version of myself.

I’m excited to be offering yoga classes that not only focus on the physical aspects of yoga but delve into the emotional and mental benefits of practicing yoga.

FUN FACTS

My yoga teacher trainer was Kat Bettger. Her classes are my absolute favorite and have inspired my class designs. My goal is to offer classes that prioritize physical asanas and provide positive inspiration to rejuvenate your body & mind.
