Join us in beautiful downtown Green Lake for the 52nd Annual Fine Art Show, happening August 9 and 10. This beloved summer tradition showcases an impressive array of talented artists from across the Midwest and beyond.

Hosted by Town Square, the Fine Art Show has been a staple in the community since 1973. As a juried show, it features over 70 accomplished artists presenting works in a variety of media, including clay and pottery, fiber, glass, printmaking, jewelry, metal, mixed media, oil and acrylic painting, pastel, photography, sculpture, watercolor, and wood.

Whether you're searching for a standout painting, a unique sculpture, or a handcrafted piece of jewelry, the Fine Art Show offers something for every art lover to appreciate—and take home.

2025 JUDGES

Meet the 2025 Green Lake Fine Art Show judges—respected artists and arts professionals selected for their expertise and eye for excellence. All participating artists are eligible for awards, which recognize outstanding artisanship, originality, and creativity. The jury will evaluate work on display during the event, with prizes awarded as follows: Best of Show – $1,000, Award of Excellence – $500, and Honorable Mention (2) – $250 each. This juried selection process ensures a high-quality experience for both artists and guests, solidifying the Green Lake Fine Art Show’s reputation as one of Wisconsin’s premier fine art events.

 

Christopher Wood

Christopher T Wood is a Milwaukee-based artist, designer, and educator whose work explores monumental themes like climate change and deep space using simple materials like graphite powder and paper. Originally from Pittsburgh, Christopher has held residencies across the U.S. and abroad, including the 2023 Dome House Artist in Residence in Door County and a yearlong appointment at Milwaukee’s Pfister Hotel. He holds an MFA in Painting and a BFA in Visual Communication Design–Illustration, and has taught at UW, Carthage College, and Ripon College. His work is widely exhibited and held in private collections internationally. He is represented by Portrait Society Gallery of Contemporary Art.

Doug Johnson

Johnson holds bachelor's and master's degrees in printmaking and painting from Illinois State University and a Master of Fine Arts in painting from Northern Illinois University. He has exhibited in Chicago at several galleries in the River North district, the Chicago International Art Exhibition, and he continues with an active exhibition schedule.

His work is in many private collections. He serves as the Executive Director of the McLean County Arts Center in Bloomington, IL.

We are thrilled to welcome back Green Lake staples, Dan Braaksma and Al Muenchow play 11am-3pm on Saturday. Covering everyone’s favorites, this acoustic duo set the vibes for the show.

Erin Krebs

From sultry jazz to blues and soul, Erin Krebs lights up the stage with electrifying performances that reflect her genuine passion and zest for life. The celebrated vocalist performs at the Art Show 11am - 3pm on Sunday.
