Art MidWisconsin
July 2025
Town Square Lobby Artist
This month, the Town Square Community Center lobby gallery features a stunning photography exhibition by members of Art MidWisconsin, a collective of regional artists working across media to foster creativity, community, and collaboration.
Titled “Aperture 2025,” this special exhibition spotlights lens-based works from Art MidWisconsin member artists including Bev Christ, Dick Folse, Michaela Foreman, Eileen Reilly, Howard Rigden, David Sakrison, and Kathy Sletten. The gallery serves as a preview and celebration of the upcoming Green Lake Fine Art Show, taking place August 9–10, which will feature more than 70 professional and emerging artists from across the Midwest, including pieces from the artists of Art MidWisconsin.
“I’m thrilled to be part of this growing partnership between Art MidWisconsin and Town Square,” says photographer Dick Folse. “From the workshops and lecture series this summer to the lobby gallery and the Green Lake Fine Art Show in August, it’s exciting to see the ways we’re bringing art into the heart of the community.”
Art MidWisconsin is dedicated to connecting and uplifting visual artists through exhibitions, public workshops, and professional development. Their mission aligns with Town Square’s role as a hub for creative engagement and community events. Eighteen hands-on art programs and lectures led by Art MidWisconsin artists are scheduled throughout Summer 2025, designed to inspire artists and art-lovers at all levels.
The public is invited to visit Town Square throughout July to experience the Aperture 2025 exhibit and learn more about the artists and their work. Art lovers are also encouraged to save the date for the Green Lake Fine Art Show, a juried outdoor event that transforms downtown Green Lake into an open-air gallery each August.
