W David Fields: March 2026

W David Fields

March Lobby Artist

What if the most overlooked corners of our everyday world held unexpected beauty? This March, Town Square invites visitors to experience that transformation through the abstract fine art photography of W David Fields, featured in the March Lobby Artist Gallery.

Fields’ work draws the viewer’s attention to shape, color, shadow, and contrast, revealing striking compositions hidden within both natural and human-made environments. His photographs explore the quiet transformation that occurs over time—when decay, disarray, and randomness reshape the mundane into something uniquely compelling.

Rather than focusing on what an image represents, Fields encourages viewers to pause and appreciate what is visually present. “It’s natural to want to identify what you’re looking at,” Fields shares. “But I hope people will step back and simply experience the forms, colors, and textures as they are. There’s beauty in letting go of the need to define everything.”

Fields’ photography has received recognition in numerous juried exhibitions, including an Honorable Mention at the Moscow International Foto Awards, the Lilian Noble Award at the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Art juried show, and a Merit Award at the Stevens Point Festival of the Arts.

The exhibition will be on display throughout March during regular business hours at Town Square Community Center, 492 Hill Street in downtown Green Lake. Visitors are invited to stop in and experience a fresh perspective on the ordinary. To view more of David’s work, visit www.lotusfineartphotography.com.
