This event has been postponed so that we can feature a different kind of painting. During the month of February, the lobby will be getting a fresh coat of paint on the walls to enhance the work of the featured artist going forward. Faye will be featuring her artwork along with other local artists in November.

In February, the Town Square Community Center lobby will feature work from local artist and teacher Faye Barber-Schmur. The pieces on display will include her current watercolor and more. You can meet Faye personally at the socially-distanced artist reception scheduled for Friday, February 5, 5 to 6 p.m.

“My Artwork is as varied as my artistic interests. Because I am an Art Instructor, I am always trying new techniques. I always think I have found the one for me, but alas, I find another. I always think that someday I will settle down and stick to just one media or technique and for the most part, watercolor is my media these days, but the techniques vary. ”
