Town Square Interactive Open House
FACES - PLACES - FUN
This is an Open House like no other! Sure, there are places to see. But this one has people to meet and things to do. After a snoozefest of a year, Town Square is back and better than ever.
Online is fine, but don’t you miss people of the three-dimensional kind? You’ll find them here, at Town Square’s Interactive Open House, with fun activities and experiences for you. Take the whole self-guided tour and pack a whole summer of fun into Two Hours!
STOP ONE: In the Town Square lobby, pick up your goody bag to fill along the way, meet local artists, try your hand at art projects, check out the latest in electric bikes, find bargains at Hangers Resale Therapy, and see the new Lester Schwartz: Three Months in Ecuador exhibit.
STOP TWO: Fore! Try for a hole-in-one on our indoor putting green, as you prepare for Town Square’s First Annual Golf Outing on August 2. Greg Lundberg and Sean Madden are your “Course Marshals.”
STOP THREE: At our Wellness Sampler in Studio A, learn a yoga pose, learn a dance step, do two-minute meditation, pick up a refreshing drink at our juice bar, and learn about our new Paint the Town Red family fun run/walk.
STOP FOUR: Drop the kids off in the Boys & Girls Club for a 15-minute slime-making extravaganza.
STOP FIVE: Boost your energy with a power bar from Fitness Center Manager Ellie Apland and get in on Five Minute Fitness.
STOP SIX: Meet Top Chefs and see them in action, cooking up a storm right in Green Lake Kitchens: Wing King and Social Media Sensation Will Gerstein of Bucket Wings, and Internet Personality Chef Trent Hazelberg, who will be teaching cooking classes throughout the year.
STOP SEVEN: Pop into the Bingo Hall for a game of Speedy Bingo with caller Mark Alling. Win a prize and snack on one of our famous Sheboygan Bingo Dogs.
STOP EIGHT: Wow! Check out the former Green Lake County Courtroom, now restored to its original glory, as the Town Square Ballroom. Meet our three Summer Kids Camp “Counsellors,” find out how to book a room at Town Square, and how to volunteer. Sign up for one of our Champagne Farm to Table brunches. AND, sit down for an interview to see yourself on the Big Screen.
STOP NINE: Get ready for Dino Daze with a Jurassic Jeep photo op on Mill Pond Terrace, and join in a mini version of the big Gloria Hills Bonfire set for June 26. Then, join the hundreds of bicycle riders descending on the Terrace at the finish of the Green Lake 100.
Whew!
