Hanging out with Wisconsin Bats

Did you know that Wisconsin is home to some of the largest aggregations of Little Brown Bats in North America and a significant proportion of the international population of this species?

Attend this month’s Green Lake Bird and Nature Club on Tuesday evening, February 11th at 6pm and meet Jennifer Redell, Conservation Biologist and Cave & Mine Specialist with the WI DNR’s Bat Program. Bats need our help now more than ever. Gather with us to listen to her engaging presentation about these masters of night flight and how they are studied statewide. Learn what actions you can take to investigate and invite these unseen neighbors onto your property.

The Green Lake Bird and Nature Club meets every second Tuesday of the month, from September through May. This meeting will take place in the Club Room at Town Square.

We welcome anyone with an interest in birds and nature to attend. Join their Facbeook Group for more information or call President Tom Schultz at 920-960-1796.
