Moraine Park Technical College Brings Business Startup Classes to Town Square

A new partnership gives Green Lake area residents the opportunity to enroll in Moraine Park Technical College’s “Start Your Own Business” program at Town Square Community Center. This five-week series allows new and established business owners to participate in a business program that offers work/life flexibility.

Green Lake Renewal’s Executive Director Kate Salas leads the organization’s entrepreneurship support initiative, Green Lake BizStarts, and said she knows firsthand the great potential for business growth in Green Lake and the surrounding communities.

“The reality is that small, growing businesses need all the support they can get,” said Salas, adding, “This series of classes is designed to give participants the business management skills and resources necessary to thrive in today’s competitive market.”

Classes will run on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 8:25 pm starting January 21 through February 18. Non-program students may register after Open Registration begins on December 5, 2018. Interested individuals can find more information online at morainepark.edu/programs or by calling (800) 472-4554.
