Fox Valley blues music duo, Still Blue, is set to play the Market at Town Square this friday, June 8 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on 492 Hill St in Downtown Green Lake. The performance is free and open to the public.

“Still Blues is a great addition to the market’s festive atmosphere,” said Jorge Gutierrez of Green Lake Renewal. “With our weekly beer tent serving local brews from Knuth Brew Company, a couple of hot food vendors, and over 15 new and returning vendors, the market is the perfect place to start your weekend.”

Still Blue is the Fox Valley's newest upscale blues duo, featuring talented and seasoned player Chris Evenson. Evenson is from Sturgeon Bay, WI and handles the bass, just as he's been doing for other bands like The Whiskey Sours and Blue & Gray. Accompanying Evenson is guitarist Marblehead Giles, Chicago-born musician residing in Oshkosh. Giles has been the lead guitarist for several successful area bands, including Tin Sandwich Blues Band. Still Blue's song list includes songs by Clapton, Savoy Brown, Delbert McClinton, Howlin Wolf, and original songs.

The Market at Town Square is held every Friday from 3 pm until 6:30 pm through September 28. An Arts and Crafts Market operated by Town Square’s Artist Co-Op is also held on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm through September 29.
