Fox Tale Brewing Announces Grand Opening of Town Square Tap

After several successful preview services, Fox Tale Brewing is pleased to announce the grand opening of its first taproom, Town Square Tap, on Wednesday, June 26th at 4pm. Town Square Tap is located on Mill Pond Terrace, part of Town Square Community Center in Downtown Green Lake, Wisconsin. 

“We at Fox Tale can’t be more excited about this amazing opportunity,” says Zach Frazier, co-owner of Fox Tale Brewing Company. “The company has been brewing in the Green Lake Kitchens culinary business incubator at Town Square for about a year now and has been actively looking for a taproom during that time. We love Town Square, and when we heard about the new terrace construction, and Green Lake Renewal’s vision, we felt that this was the perfect match.” 

Mill Pond Terrace is slated for its grand opening on July 2nd. The project has transformed aging parking lots to the north of the Town Square community center into a paved and landscaped multi-functional event space.  “We are blessed to have a breath-taking space to call home and we want to fill that space with amazing events, activities, and fun. Every Friday and Saturday, we will have live music and food stands. Starting the 6th of July, brunch complete with amazing mimosas will be served every Saturday starting at 8:00 am. We have cornhole, lawn jenga, and shuffleboard with a few other games in the works.  In short, there is no better place for drinks, food, fun, and music than Town Square Tap.”  

Town Square Tap will feature Fox Tale’s Genuine Craft Ginger Beer, which uses a Pre-Prohibition recipe, created with the freshest ingredients. In addition to ginger beer, bar service will feature alcoholic drinks such as Mules and Shandies that are made with ginger beer. 

In addition to bar operations, Town Square Concessions, LLC (the parent company of Town Square Tap) is also collaborating with Town Square to host weddings, plan events, and bring festivals to Green Lake.  “It’s such a beautiful space and we want people to know that this is the perfect place for a wedding or event.”

Town Square Tap’s operating hours are Tuesdays-Thursdays 4-10pm, Fridays 2-10pm, Saturdays 11am-10pm, and select hours on Sundays for charity. For the week of July 1st, hours will expand hours serving Monday-Friday 11AM-10PM, and Saturday from 8AM-10PM. 

Fox Tale’s Ginger Beer is currently sold at local Wisconsin farmers markets and available on tap at Bare Bones Brewery in Oshkosh, WI.
