Brigid Yeomans

Two to three times a week, Brigid Yeomans comes into Town Square with a smile (behind her mask), a positive attitude, and always a minute to ask how you are. Then she gets to work sorting through the generous donations, pricing, and restocking Hangers: Resale Therapy

Brigid originally became involved with volunteering at Town Square Community Center to help support Hangers: Resale Therapy. She has been helping for the past couple of years since Hangers opened and also volunteered on the annual White Hot Party fundraiser held in July.

I became involved because I like the idea of a community center,” says Brigid. “Town Square brings all ages together and offers something for everyone.

Brigid’s favorite memory is volunteering with Linda Burkart after the donations room had grown tremendously after a long time away. With lots of work and laughs, Brigid and Linda dug in and worked their way through it all. She walked away from that experience feeling proud of their accomplishment.

It is a great feeling to be able to contribute to the success of Town Square, no matter how big or small,” Brigid added. “That is how you make things happen!

Brigid knows how incredibly lucky the community is to have Town Square and would like you to consider supporting your community center. From donating new and gently used clothing and accessories, volunteering at the front desk or programs and events, anyone can contribute in their own way.
