A Fleet of Supporters Help Keep Town Square Afloat!
July 15, 2020, Green Lake, WI - Drum roll, please! Thank you to our generous supporters for helping us generate an amazing nearly $60,000 at the annual White Hot Party! Pandemic? Social distancing? Nothing keeps Town Square docked. Our event was clearly unsinkable! More than 30 boats and 140 passengers took to the lake Saturday night, turning the event this year into a crazy White Hot BOAT Party!
The weather held out making Norwegian Bay the center of the festivities and the evening a booming success. A highlight of the evening was the live music provided by Steve Yeomans and Friends, featuring John Harmon. The band on a barge, which sounded like another wacky idea, made the flotilla into a REAL party.
And don’t forget the boat decorating contest. Captains and their mates brought their A-game and decorated with unique themes including fresh white flowers, white paper lanterns, enormous swans, laundry on a clothesline, and even a white Christmas tree. Huge shout out to the contest judges, Melanie Sippel and Helicia Bierman.
There are so many volunteers, sponsors, and donors to thank. Everyone really stepped up to make sure this event happened.
