Calling All Friendly Faces! Town Square Wants You!

Are you fun? Are you friendly? Do you enjoy meeting new people? Yes? Then keep reading! Consider being a Front Desk Docent at Town Square Community Center. This opportunity doesn’t require a lot of time and is an exciting way to give back to your community and bring people together.

Town Square is an award-winning community center and a popular hub of activity in downtown Green Lake. Residents and guests come to Town Square to learn and play together year-round. In addition to programs, events, and classes, we provide customer service for Hangers: Resale Therapy boutique and The Corner Store, where local artists sell their work.

As a Front Desk Docent, you will be that first lovely face Town Square guests will see and remember. Our goal is to have one enthusiastic docent on duty for two 3-4 hour shifts each day, Monday through Friday. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming guests 

  • Sharing historical information 

  • Selling merchandise

  • Answering questions

  • Giving directions and tours
