Harvest Fest Lineup at Town Square Community Center!
Green Lake Harvest Fest is here this weekend, September 26-27, and Town Square Community Center will be a HUGE part of the socially distanced festivities this weekend!
The impressive lineup of activities includes the following:
> The summer season of The Market at Town Square will wrap up this Friday, September 25, from 3-6 p.m. Be sure to stop by and support your local farmers and artisans. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to load up on goodies from your favorite vendors. It has been a fantastic summer season, and Town Square would like to thank all of the local vendors and shoppers who helped keep this popular food event going this year!
> Town Square’s popular B-I-N-G-O is back...at least for Harvest Fest weekend. Socially-distanced Big Top Bingo will take place outdoors on the Mill Pond Terrace, Saturday at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and again on Sunday at 1 p.m. Each session will consist of 13 games finishing with a progressive jackpot starting at over $700 in the first session. You can buy your tickets and find your seat an hour before each session begins. Concessions of hot dogs, chips, wine, and beer will be available for purchase.
> Hangers: Resale Therapy will be open on BOTH Saturday and Sunday, September 26-27, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Your favorite resale boutique has recently been restocked with gently used women's clothing and accessories for the fall and winter seasons. You will find trendy bargains that will make you look hot and fashionable at a fraction of what you would spend elsewhere.
> Town Square Tap will feature live music to help celebrate the Oktoberfest spirit. Tuba Dan will fill the Autumn air with live polka music under the tent on Mill Pond Terrace at Town Square on Friday, September 25, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. On Saturday, September 26, from 3-5:30 p.m, in between Town Square Bingo sessions, John Lambert will play classic pop/rock covers along with his own material. Joining John will be Randy Dean on percussion!
> We are excited to be working with Norton Boat Works once again this year at Harvest Fest to offer Wooden Boat Tours. This 20-minute scenic voyage in a stunning 1954 Chris Craft costs just $20 a person with the proceeds benefiting your Town Square Community Center. Rides will go from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers will sell tickets at a pickup location on the wharf at Deacon Mills Park. Weather permitting.
In addition to the boat tours, several Chris Craft boats from across the decades will be on display in the Mill Pond Terrace parking lot all day Saturday and Sunday, September 26-27.
All proceeds from Town Square Bingo and concessions, and Hangers: Resale Therapy benefit Town Square, a 501(c)3 community center.
