It's Them Or Us: Help the Weed Team

Make Weeds Mad, Weed Team Happy 

If there’s one thing that weeds hate more than the Weed Team, it’s MULCH. Because it stops ‘em before they even get started. This summer, your Weed Team will be out there, gloved up and yanking the little devils, and this Saturday, YOU can help make their job easier.

Here’s who you’ll be helping

They’re wild, weedy, willing and wonderful. Meet the Weed Team:

  • Zone 1: Diane Rogahn, Ann Rogers, Amy Gerstein and Elizabeth Goodspeed

  • Zone 2: Mary MacKenzie, Jennifer Hawley, Jo Ellen Madden, Wendy Schultz and Barb Stahl

  • Zone 3: Elaine Gustavson, Joan Lloyd, Eileen Vandervelde and Laurie Quernemoen

  • Zone 4: Linda Burkart, Nancy Cody, Molly McCann, Lisa Scully and Cindy Tate

Want to help these fantastic people? Show up at Town Square at 10 am on Saturday, May 22 with gloves, a wheelbarrow and pitchfork if you have them, and your smile. No one is too young or too old to do this: so bring the whole fan damily. You can be a lifter, mover, spreader, or just move around and tell jokes. Honestly, we could use a few hulking MEN for the heavier parts. The more the merrier. If we get 20 people, it can all be done in two hours.
