The Hottest Party of the Summer

Now in its third year, Green Lake Renewal’s White Hot Party, one of the most popular events of the Green Lake area’s summer season, is set to take place on Saturday, July 14 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm at the home of Joe and Tina Pregont on Green Lake’s Sugarloaf Point.

The annual, all-white-attire affair is a “mix and mingle” cocktail party to raise funds for major Green Lake Renewal projects.

Mr. and Mrs. Pregont were the lead donors for the Mill Pond Terrace project when it was introduced at last year’s White Hot Party, contributing $50,000 toward creating the new, multi-functional community space behind Town Square.

The Pregonts' new home, which was featured in the June 2017 edition of House Beautiful, sits on acreage that forms a well-known promontory reaching into Green Lake and dividing the cliffs of Sugarloaf and the popular Norwegian Bay.

“Joe and Tina both have long family histories in Green Lake,” said Fran Hill of Green Lake Renewal. “Their generosity to the community has been nothing short of incredible. We are so grateful for their support of Green Lake and their involvement in bringing vibrancy to our area.”

The hardscape portion of the Mill Pond Terrace project, including excavation, concrete and retaining walls, will break ground this May. The 2018 White Hot Party will raise funds to add landscaping and lighting to the venue.
