Did you know that Town Square Square Community Center is open on Saturdays, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.? Local resident Tori Miller, our Saturday information desk attendee, is here to help! On a typical Saturday, she happily addresses phone calls, cashiering for Hangers: Resale Therapy, Lester Schwartz and The Corner Store galleries, giving directions, and helping with events.
Tori’s first experience at Town Square Community Center when she was younger was practicing dance with her friends in Studio A. She also heard the same friends talk about how much fun they had doing arts and crafts.

When Tori heard about the information desk attendee position at Town Square, she knew it would be an excellent opportunity to get more involved in the Green Lake community. Her favorite part about her job is meeting so many new people and hearing about their lives. She has learned a lot from these conversations providing some unique experiences such as learning the history of Town Square and Green Lake in general.
“Working at Town Square has definitely opened my eyes to my community and has helped me build relationships with other locals. I’ve learned so much since I started here in August. I’m truly thankful for the opportunities and wisdom this job has provided me.”
