Town Square’s New Program Coordinator

Visitors to Town Square Community Center may already recognize a friendly new face helping coordinate programs, events, and activities throughout the community. Town Square is pleased to officially welcome Erin Flores, who joined the organization as Program Coordinator on May 1 and now oversees many of the programs that bring residents and visitors together year-round, including the Summer Market, Green Lake Fitness, monthly Bingo, camps, and youth activities.

In her role, Flores works closely with participants, volunteers, instructors, and vendors to create welcoming experiences that support Town Square's mission of building community through recreation, education, arts, and social connection.

Originally from Vermont, with a twelve-year stint in California, Flores brings a background in youth programming, event coordination, and community engagement. Since joining Town Square, she has quickly become involved in many of the programs and events that bring people together throughout the Green Lake community.

“Erin has already made a tremendous impact in a short amount of time,” said Kris Anderson, Executive Director of Town Square Community Center. “Her energy, organizational skills, and genuine passion for community-building make her a wonderful fit for Town Square. She has embraced everything from markets and fitness programming to Bingo and youth activities, and we're excited to have her as part of the team.”

“What drew me to Town Square is its commitment to bringing people together,” said Flores. “I love creating opportunities for people to connect, learn something new, and feel like they belong. Whether it's a child attending their first camp, someone finding community through fitness, or neighbors gathering at the Market or Bingo, I'm excited to be part of the experiences that make Town Square such a special place.” Community members are encouraged to introduce themselves when they see Flores around Town Square and reach out to learn more about the many programs, events, and opportunities available throughout the year.
