Can you imagine arriving in Green Lake for a wedding and seeing the old courthouse boarded up and abandoned?

Instead, because of the generosity of our donors, that historic building has been transformed into a vibrant gathering place where people come together to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.

Today, Town Square is a sought-after venue for weddings, showers, and special events. In just this year alone, the space will host multiple weddings, a wedding brunch, bridal showers, and baby showers—bringing hundreds of guests into downtown Green Lake to celebrate, explore, shop, and dine.

What was once a courthouse is now a place of connection and celebration. The elegant Ballroom (formerly the courtroom), the welcoming Jury Room Bar, the Mill Pond Terrace, and Studio A each offer a unique setting that blends history with new life.

Town Square has become an important part of Green Lake’s growing reputation as a destination for weddings and gatherings. Over the past three years, more than 1,500 guests have attended weddings and related events here, drawn to the charm of the space and the flexibility of its indoor and outdoor options.

Events like the annual Wedding & Event Expo continue to strengthen these connections, bringing together local vendors and visitors while highlighting all that Green Lake has to offer.
