Get ready for the sidewalk sale of the summer!

Hangers, Town Square’s resale shop for women, will be accepting donations during Green Lake’s annual Citywide Garage Sale on Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5. In exchange for their tax-deductible donations, donors will receive a 10% discount on their total purchase when they make shop at Hangers that weekend.

New and gently used gowns, shoes and accessories are now for sale, but Hangers is in need of dresses of various sizes. Donations can be dropped off at Town Square’s front desk between 9 am and 5 pm on weekdays, and 9 am to 3 pm on Saturdays through the month of March. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

With prom around the corner, the Hangers resale shop at Town Square is seeking dresses to help young girls live out their dream of a memorable high school prom. New and gently used gowns, shoes and accessories can be dropped off at Town Square’s front desk between 9 am and 5 pm on weekdays, and 9 am to 3 pm on Saturdays through the month of March.

“You’ll get plenty of chances to win at Polar Bear Bingo,” said Kate Salas of Green Lake Renewal. “Door prizes include hot new items from Town Square’s resale shop Hangers to help you stay warm through the winter.”

From now through January, donors will receive a “10% off” coupon for one of two participating local retail stores in Downtown Green Lake, Dish and Gysbers Jewelry, along with a tax-receipt from the non-profit Green Lake Renewal.
