Art MidWisconsin
August Lobby Artist

Art MidWisconsin will showcase the work of six recently added members in its New Member Show at the Town Square Community Center Lobby Gallery this August. The free exhibition will be on display during regular building hours throughout the month, with an artist reception on Saturday, August 8, from 3–4 p.m. during the 53rd Annual Green Lake Fine Art Show.

The exhibition features artwork by Nicole Conner, Jane George, Jeanne Gilbert, Susan Melgaard, Eileen Pfeifer, and Connie Willett, introducing visitors to the newest members of the Art MidWisconsin collective and showcasing a variety of artistic styles and mediums.

Art MidWisconsin is a collective of 36 artists living and working throughout central Wisconsin, between the state's three major metropolitan areas. The organization promotes the visual fine arts through group exhibitions, art sales, and professional development opportunities while fostering collaboration among professional artists.

"One of the greatest strengths of Art MidWisconsin is the diversity of its artists," said Dick Folse, member of Art MidWisconsin. "Each new member brings a unique perspective and creative voice to the collective, and this exhibition offers visitors the chance to experience that variety while discovering artists they may not have encountered before."

The artist reception takes place during the 53rd Annual Green Lake Fine Art Show, giving visitors another opportunity to meet regional artists while enjoying one of Wisconsin's premier outdoor art festivals. Guests are encouraged to step inside Town Square to explore the exhibit, meet the featured artists, and experience another facet of Green Lake's vibrant arts community.
