Roger Mayer
June Lobby Artist

This June, the Town Square Community Center lobby gallery at 492 Hill Street in Green Lake features abstract artwork by local artist Roger “RAMJET” Mayer. On display throughout the month, Mayer’s bold and energetic paintings invite visitors to experience the movement, emotion, and sense of discovery inspired by a lifetime of travel and adventure. The exhibition is open during regular business hours—9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Known artistically as RAMJET, Mayer is both a seasoned airline pilot and world traveler whose experiences across cultures and landscapes shape his creative process. His abstract work channels the energy of movement and exploration, translating impressions from life in the skies and around the globe into expressive compositions filled with color, texture, and motion.

Whether flying across continents or painting in the studio, Mayer approaches his work with a spirit of curiosity and discovery. His artwork reflects the constantly changing perspectives that come with travel, while encouraging viewers to bring their own interpretations and emotions to each piece.

“Travel changes the way you see the world,” Mayer shares. “Every place, every landscape, and every experience leaves an impression. My artwork is a way of translating those moments into something people can feel and connect with in their own way.”

The public is invited to visit Town Square throughout June to experience Mayer’s dynamic abstract exhibition and explore artwork shaped by adventure, movement, and imagination.
