Figure Drawing Returns to Town Square for the Summer

Starting July 11 and running through through August 15, Town Square Community Center will be hosting figure drawing classes for all skill levels on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Advanced registration is not required, but it is highly encouraged. Participants can pay $10 at the time of class or buy a six-week pass for $50. Students pay $5 with a valid student ID.

“This is a great way for anyone to work on their drawing skills,” said Green Lake Renewal Executive Director Kate Salas. “The sessions allow drawers to warm up with some shorter poses and then settle into a drawing with longer poses.”

The sessions, designed for those interested in working on their observational drawing skills, will be held weekly for six weeks. Classes are monitored but participants work uninstructed in their medium of choice. Students also provide their own drawing materials and must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
