Fond du Lac Artist Faye Barber-Schmuhl to Offer Acrylic Painting Workshop at Town Square

Local Artist Faye Barber-Schmuhl will be demonstrating her liquid acrylic techniques at a one-day workshop in Town Square Community Center. The workshop will be held on Saturday, June 23 from 10 am to 3 pm. Cost of registration is $75 and is limited to ten people. Participants may sign up online at www.greenlakerenewal.org/.

The goal of this workshop is to practice layering colors to create new ones, and combining abstract and realistic elements on a textured field. Participants will be provided with materials of the highest quality and can expect to leave with a finished composition. If needed, additional studio time will be included free of charge.

Faye Barber-Schmuhl worked as an art instructor for 27 years and continues to teach as a long term and short-term substitute teacher in Lomira, Rosendale, Oakfield and Fond du Lac area. She has exhibited at the WOW Gallery in Wittenberg, the Library Gallery in Fond du Lac, and the Fine Lines Gallery in Hortonville. Presently, she teaches at the FDL senior center and at her studio in Town Square.
