Personal Trainer Colton Burt to Operate Green Lake Fitness at Town Square

Colton Burt, a certified personal trainer and owner of Priority Fitness, will operate and manage Town Square’s Green Lake Fitness, taking over responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the downtown Green Lake 24-hour fitness and exercise facility. A native of Neshkoro, Mr. Burt has been in the fitness business since graduating from Wautoma High School and holds a certified personal training certificate from ACE—one of the country’s top, nationally-recognized certification programs.

“We are so pleased to welcome this young and ambitious entrepreneur to Green Lake,” said Larry Gundrum, executive director of Town Square. “His experience, credentials and enthusiasm will help bring Green Lake Fitness to a whole new level.”

Mr. Burt’s plans for Green Lake Fitness include expanding the space and installing new equipment, including updated cardio units like recumbent bikes, treadmills, and ellipticals. The expansion will also include a 1,500 square feet area with larger free-weights and crossfit-like area. Moreover, Burt plans to bring in more personal trainers and create visual enhancements to give members a better-than-ever experience.

“Having being a local for such a long time, I felt it was time for me to get more involved in my community,“ said Colton Burt when asked why he wanted to come to Green Lake. “This facility is a very large asset to this area, and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Mr. Burt started his first personal studio at age of 18, and his most recent endeavor involved launching a firm, Priority Fitness, that evaluates and repairs fitness equipment throughout Wisconsin. Through his service, Burt is able to provide safety checks and preventive maintenance for Green Lake Fitness, finding the perfect functioning equipment to meet the needs of the fitness member.
