More than 40 Town Square community center volunteers were recognized at the annual volunteer appreciation celebration, hosted by Green Lake Renewal Board Member Jo Ellen Madden and Ambassador Joan Lloyd.  The event was held at the Greenway House Bed and Breakfast and catered by Kari Schliecher of Bliss Catering in Green Lake last Friday evening.

“We want to thank everyone here, our dedicated volunteers, for generously giving of your time and talents helping in all areas of our community center. Town Square couldn’t operate without you” said Larry Gundrum, Town Square’s Executive Director. “A special thanks also goes out to Joan Lloyd and Jo Ellen Madden for throwing a fantastic party in appreciation of these wonderful friends of the organization.”

Front desk volunteers Sue Lesnau, Boni Jensen, and Kim Bates were recognized for their ongoing support and talent.

Amy Arnetveit, owner of Fusion Creative, was honored with the “2018 Volunteer of the Year” award for her professional expertise, numerous hours, and guidance of the organization over the past decade, and most recently with the carefully planned design elements of both Mill Pond Terrace and Town Square Tap (Grand Opening Celebration on July 2).

The event recognized all of Town Square’s volunteers, most notably front desk volunteers Kim Bates, Boni Jensen and Sue Lesnau.  All three ladies have dedicated many hours as well as their talent to the daily operations at Town Square.
