NEW AT TOWN SQUARE: MOBOEVO, NEXT GEN BIKES, BOARDS, BEYOND

June 23, 2020, Green Lake, WI - Cyclists, kayakers and water sports enthusiasts all love Green Lake, and now there’s yet another reason to show up here: moboevo, offering innovative electric and non-electric bikes, surfboards, adaptives/recumbents, kayaks, and nature-powered wind, wing, and hydrofoil foil products will open a Green Lake Showroom at Town Square on Saturday, June 27.  You can visit the space during its soft-opening to get a close-up look at the gear and get expert advice with a demo on what equipment will best suit you.  Soon this summer, moboevo will offer really cool product experiences including events/rental/lessons.

In the showroom, you’ll find bikes ranging from lake cruisers, fat tire hunting bikes, recumbent or adaptive trikes, plus fishing kayaks, and yes I didn’t mistype - electric surfboards. Dan Hutter, a Green Lake resident who globe-trotted as a corporate sustainability executive in retail and consumer products for 15 years before starting moboevo with friend Mark Radler, says Green Lake is the perfect spot to expand his company, which also has an Oconomowoc location and a robust online presence at www.moboevo.com. “This innovative gallery format brings to market existing product categories that are being reimagined and new categories that are being formed; and technology is allowing people of all abilities to move in different ways, on and off-water.”

Be sure to stop in and meet Dan-the-Idea-Man, Biker/Surfer, and Wrench-turner/tinker! Shop hours are as follows:
Thursday - 11am - 4pm
Friday - 11am - 5pm
Saturday - 11am - 3pm
Dan will also have one-on-one by appointment hours outside those established hours.

Dan started coming to Green Lake as a youngster, fell in love with life here, and finally moved with his wife Patti and three children (including six-year-old twins!) who go to Green Lake Elementary three years ago. Now, he has big plans and sees big possibilities for creating events that will attract even more outdoor sports enthusiasts to enjoy the Green Lake area.  As Dan says, “We are sitting on cool facts and rich history here with Green Lake being WI’s deepest inland lake and a short cycle away from where the Father of US’s National Parks, John Muir, became inspired from his boy-hood stomping grounds, how cool is that.”

Town Square loves health and wellness options….and added to Green Lake Fitness, Room to Breathe Yoga and Pilates Studio and the Bike Garden, this is obviously the start of something big…..Welcome Dan!
