Mike & Jill Havey

Let’s face it, 2020 has not been without its challenges, including finding safe and user-friendly face masks. Well, look no further!!! Recently, Mike and Jill Havey surprised staff at the Town Square with a donation of Green Lake-branded face masks to sell as a way to raise funds for the community center. The mask graphics are a fun way to support the community and show unity.

Mike and Jill have sourced the handmade face masks from Brittny Gerig, a resident, and mom. Brittny has been producing these fun, comfortable masks that include a bendable wire nose strip between working a full-time job and raising her young family.

“I hope the Green Lake community continues to be safe by practicing social distancing and other proven safety measures,” says Mike. “Even though some new local cases have emerged, the community has done a great job at helping keep the case numbers low!”

UPDATE: Due to popular demand, our donors have restocked our supply of masks and will be available for $10 including tax as of now while supplies last. Each mask costs over $6 to produce and are created by a local Green Lake resident hence the reason for the price change. Masks can be purchased in the Town Square lobby during normal business hours.

All proceeds directly support programs and activities at Town Square Community Center, the 501 (c)3 nonprofit that enriches the lives of the Green Lake community members, family, and friends by providing cultural, social, recreational, educational, and economic opportunities for people of all ages.

Mike and Jill Havey are constant Green Lake community supporters. Mike serves as an active member of the Town Square Community Center Board of directors and helps local businesses succeed as part of the Town Square Business Solutions team. In addition, the two  host the annual Street Bash, a wildly popular community event that supports local nonprofit organizations.
