Cabin Fever Series is ready to launch!
We are excited to be teaming up with the Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area to launch a new series of children’s programming this winter.
Winter can be hard on parents, when outdoor activities are limited and kids have pent up energy. Let Town Square be a lifeline during the coldest months - we offer a safe, warm place to burn some energy and have fun with other kids!
The Cabin Fever Kids Series are free monthly events held at Town Square from January through April. The Friday afternoon events run from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and will each have a unique theme like Bad Behavior and Area 51.
Mindy Collado, director of operations for the Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area, said the organization is excited to collaborate with Town Square in offering a new way to connect with Club members and community members alike.
“Continuing our partnership with Town Square was a no-brainer. With similar missions, both Town Square and the Boys & Girls Club strive to enrich the lives of youth and families and our 2022 youth program offerings aim to do just that,” Collado said. “Whether families have utilized Club or Town Square programming in the past, or are new to both, everyone is invited to join us!”
The events in the series are as follows:
Friday, January 21
Color on the walls and jump on the furniture. You can’t do it at home, but at Town Square there are NO RULES. Let’s get wild!
Friday, February 18
This outer space-themed day of adventure at Area 51 will include alien construction, kinetic sand, space slime and other celestial-themed activities.
Friday, March 18
Jam on instruments and even record a music video in your very own rock band! Afterwards, hit the “green room” for a snack and a juice box.
Friday, April 22
Dominate the agility course with tunnels, weaving poles and jumps. Master the obstacle course and learn some karate on this day for aspiring young ninjas.
