CALLING ALL FOODIES! Nothing creates community quite like food. Whether you’re shopping for it, cooking it or enjoying a meal together, food turns any event into a bonding experience like no other. So at Town Square, this summer, we’ve got a full plate for you!

  1. The Market at Town Square - This is THE place to be in Green Lake. Every Friday from May 14 - September 24 brings you close to growers and artisans from throughout central and east-central Wisconsin as they sell their wares and chat with friends and neighbors, all while enjoying live music. Open from 3:00 - 6:00 pm

  2. Rooster Round-Up - Shop at Crossroads Market from May 16 - 29 (and every week, of course!), and round up to support Town Square’s newest family event: Dino Daze.

  3. Crossroads Parking Lot Party  - The Dinosaur Sightings continue! Get a gander at the REAL Jurassic Jeep and meet some (human) Life-Sized Dinosaurs at the Crossroads Parking Lot Party May 15 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.  Get the scoop on Dino Daze, taking over Green Lake on June 12.

  4. Bucket Wings - Starting on May 29th and going through August 15th, the College Student, Tic-Toc Sensation, and Wing King Will Gerstein returns for the second year with Bucket Wings, made to order from Green Lake Kitchens, with dozens of sauces to choose from. Pick them up to take away or enjoy them on Mill Pond Terrace. Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 am- 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm- 8:00 pm.

  5. Culinary Creations Cooking Classes - Their dishes have plenty of personalities, and so do they! Two of Green Lake’s favorite culinary gurus will entertain and delish you with their culinary arts demonstrations, including tastings and plenty of fun. Kari Schleicher, owner of Bliss Catering, and Trent Hazelberg, formerly of Kohler. Bring your sense of humor, appetite, and imagination.

  6. Champagne Farm to Table Brunch - It’s the perfect, elegant, close-to-the-land weekend brunch on the Mill Pond Terrace. Join Chef Kari Schleicher, owner of Bliss Catering, for a lovely champagne brunch featuring locally sourced foods directly from the Market at Town Square. Bring your friends and meet new ones in this relaxed and intimate setting for 20 people, and toast our local growers as you enjoy a meal that is as beautiful as it is delicious.

  7. Kids in the Kitchen - Fun, friends, and food...what kid doesn't like that? This three-day cooking camp from 9:00 - Noon, July 27-29,  kids, 9-12 years old, will get hands-on experience and enjoy their creations. Recipes will be age-appropriate with enough challenge — so they learn new skills and yet aren’t overwhelmed. The goal is to have fun while they learn the joy of cooking delicious dishes they can make for their families.

  8. Camp Chocolate - Learn about the origins of chocolate, where chocolate comes from, and how it is made under the professional instruction and supervision of Heather Rawlings Davis. Offered in two separate age groups, Grades K-2 and 3-5, Kids will design their own chocolate products, add their own special toppings and ingredients, and then package and sell them at the Friday Farm Market at Town Square.
