Town Square to Operate Tap

After launching in 2019 as a beer garden adjacent to Mill Pond Terrace at Town Square, and being operated by Town Square Concessions LLC for the past two years, Town Square Tap will be operated by Town Square Community Center starting on July 1, 2021.

“We are incredibly grateful to Town Square Concessions owner Zach Frazier and his partners Zach Johnson and Susan Frazier for launching this wonderful venue and growing it into a successful business and a great community asset,” said Fran Hill, executive director of Town Square. “We are looking forward to continuing the operation and welcoming all who wish to enjoy the Mill Pond Terrace.”

“As a brewing business, this taproom has allowed us to grow and develop our ginger beer production,” said Mr. Frazier. “While we are happy that the bar is growing rapidly, it has taken away our focus from brewing expansion, and this pivot will allow us to focus our efforts back on brewing.”

Mill Pond Terrace, the event venue to the north of Town Square and overlooking the Mill Pond, was opened in 2019 after being made possible by donations from members from throughout the Green Lake community. Popular Mill Pond Terrace events this year include the Green Lake 100, Party on the Pond, the Paint the Town Red 5K Fun Run, Concert on the Pond, Farm-to-Table Dinners and many other community member celebrations and events.
