Big Fun for Little Friends

Town Square Community Center has a full slate of children’s programming planned throughout the year. Children’s programming is a core focus area for our nonprofit organization, which also presents events related to health and wellness, the arts and food.

“At Town Square, we take fun very seriously. There is no better example of this than in our kids’ programs,” said Fran Hill, Town Square executive director. “Our kids’ programming and events support families in nurturing their children's creativity, learning and development, while creating a community in which families can thrive.”

Town Square collaborates with local instructors and organizations to offer engaging programs for the next generation of community leaders including ongoing art classes, after-school events and creative kids’ camps.

In March, Town Square is hosting two events in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of the Tri-County Area.

Kids Rock Band on Friday, March 18 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. is part of the Cabin Fever Kids Series. Attendees can jam on instruments and even record a music video in their very own rock band. Afterwards, kids can hit the “green room” for a snack and juice box.

Indoor Camp Out on Tuesday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. is a special spring break edition of the Cabin Fever Series. This event will feature all the best parts of camping - campfire cupcakes, tents, flashlights and movies - inside Town Square, minus the bugs.

These events are free thanks to Town Square’s Platinum Sponsor, Aither State Farm Agency.
