Local Artists to Offer Acrylic Pouring Workshop at Town Square
Artist Teresa Vicars and resident artist Faye Barber-Schmuhl will be demonstrating acrylic pouring techniques at a one-day workshop on Saturday, November 10 from 9:30 am to 12 pm. Cost of registration is $35 and includes all materials. Participants may sign up online at www.greenlakerenewal.org/.
“We feel very honored to have accomplished artists like Ms. Barber-Schmuhl and Ms. Vicars teach at Town Square,” says Jorge Gutierrez of Green Lake Renewal. “Thanks to instructors like them, Town Square continues to be a creative community center for all ages and skill levels.”
The goal of this workshop is to practice acrylic pouring, a popular painting technique that is very simple and results in beautiful works of art. This is a great way to smooth out unwanted texture, get marbleized effects, rich colored glazes and add some fun to any painting process. Participants will be provided with materials of the highest quality and can expect to leave with a finished composition. To learn more, visit www.greenlakerenewal.org/.
