Jane Lind
Jane Lind, a devoted volunteer, first became aware of the Town Square when she moved to Green Lake eight years ago. She could find activities that she and her daughter Claire could do together, including cooking classes by Lynn Bult...and they just loved them! It was also a great way to meet other community members while bonding with fun activities.
Jane then started going to the monthly Bingo at Town Square with her friend Gloria Lichtfuss, and before you know it, they had a whole “Bingo Bunch” that would get together each month without fail and can’t wait for games to start up again at the end of May.
Jane has noticed a significant expansion in programs and events offered for all ages and interests at Town Square. She appreciates that there is something for everyone. Jane highly recommends that everyone take a look at the new program guide for 2021. The lineup for new classes and events looks super! She knows you’ll find something that will spark your interest.
Jane wants everyone to know that there are so many ways for people to get involved at their community center! The best part of the Town Square is the sense of community. There are so many people coming together for the good of Green Lake and making a huge impact. She hopes the others will look into volunteering in 2021 as well.
Jane worked at Clay Lamberton School in Berlin as a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years. She retired a few years ago and now spends most of her time with her three grandkids Grant, age 5, and twins Bria and Drew, age 3. Jane enjoys biking, kayaking, walking, reading, scrapbooking, knitting, and cooking.
