Amy Arnetveit was living in Green Lake when she first heard about Town Square Community Center opening. Soon after, Amy was approached by Fran Hill to help with some marketing projects for the new community center.

Amy started her graphic design and marketing business in 2012, and Town Square was one of Amy’s first clients. After she saw all the fantastic things happening at the community center and the organization’s values, Amy also began to volunteer her time and eventually became a member of the Board of Directors.

From the onset of this organization, there is always something happening at Town Square that is adding value to the Green Lake community — the commercial kitchen, the fitness center, Mill Pond Terrace, The Boys and Girls Club, and loads of programming and classes for residents/visitors of ALL ages.

I love being a part of making a difference in our community, Town Square is the hub of our little town, so I plan to continue to help wherever I am needed so we can maximize every inch of our building to create a place for residents and visitors alike to create wonderful memories of Green Lake.

She also adds that Town Square is YOUR community center! It is what draws people into the town and it’s what keeps people connected to each other. Keeping Town Square full of fun programs, events, and activities the community center keeps your town bustling. Amy hopes that the energy created at Town Square is infectious in our community and that you continue to see economic growth within the downtown area due to what is going on at Town Square.

Amy is really looking forward to seeing people again this year! 2020 was a challenging year for gatherings, so she is looking forward to seeing people at various programs and events planned at Town Square for 2021!
