Green Lake’s Got Game is putting a comedy twist on the game shows you know and love. This interactive night of comedy combines stand-up, audience participation, and hilarious game show-inspired challenges for a show where you never quite know what’s coming next.
Featuring Johnny Beehner, Bob Jay, and Joanie Scannell, the night will have plenty of laughs both on and off the stage. Audience participation is encouraged, so come ready to play along, cheer on your friends, and maybe even find yourself becoming part of the show.
Will you spin, guess, compete, or completely embarrass yourself in the name of comedy? There’s only one way to find out. Grab your crew and get ready to play because Green Lake’s Got Game!

Johnny Beehner
Johnny Beehner’s silly, likable style of clean comedy has been entertaining audiences for years. He has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, been heard on The Bob & Tom Show, and brings more than 20 years of experience on the comedy circuit to the stage. With a background in improvisational theater and Wisconsin roots, Johnny knows how to keep a crowd laughing and engaged from start to finish.
Bob Jay
Bob Jay is a high-energy comedian with a talent for keeping audiences guessing. A master of voices and impressions, Bob brings plenty of personality to the stage and keeps the laughs coming throughout his performance.
Joanie Scannell
Joanie Scannell, also known as GI Joanie, is a nurse by day and comedian by night, proving that patience, humor, and caffeine (or booze, when appropriate) are essential for both. With more than 33 years in nursing, including 20 years in gastroenterology, she brings sharp, sarcastic humor inspired by life’s most uncomfortable moments. Known for her quick wit and fearless style, Joanie regularly hosts and performs at Town Square in Green Lake and at The Comedy Plex.
