Green Lake Area Animal Shelter Celebration
Celebrate 33 Years of Compassion

Join the Green Lake Area Animal Shelter for a special evening celebrating 33 years of compassion, community, and care for animals. Gather with friends and fellow supporters as we honor the shelter’s journey, the people who make its work possible, and the many paws whose lives have been changed along the way.
Enjoy heavy appetizers, a cash bar, special guests, and a few surprises throughout the evening. Guests can also browse pet-inspired artwork by Art MidWisconsin artists displayed in the Town Square lobby throughout September, with 10% of art sales benefiting the animal shelter, and shop exclusive GLAAS merchandise.
All are welcome to join this celebration and help support the Green Lake Area Animal Shelter’s continued work in our community.

Ecstatic Dance is a free-form, meditative movement experience where participants move freely to music, release stored energy, and connect with their body, emotions, and inner rhythm. This welcoming session offers a chance to explore movement in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment—no dance experience needed.
Guided by simple principles, participants move in silence, follow their own rhythm, and respect personal space. Barefoot or socks are encouraged, and guests are asked to arrive clear and present.
This experience can support relaxation, self-expression, emotional release, creativity, and a deeper sense of connection with yourself and others.

Build a Scarecrow
Saturday, 10 am - 2 pm
A family fun experience - join us on Town Square Terrace to design and make your very own scarecrow. Don't worry - we have everything you need. When you’re done you can walk your scarecrow in the Harvest Fest Parade which begins at 4 pm.
Scarecrows are $20 and walk ins are welcome.
This Harvest Fest tradition includes everything you need to make a scarecrow to take home! Come to the Terrace overlooking the Mill Pond at Town Square between 10am to 2pm on Saturday, September 26 and build a scarecrow.
Wooden Boat Display

As part of Green Lake’s Harvest Fest weekend, Norton Boat Works will bring a special display of beautiful wooden boats to Town Square Community Center.
Stop by the north side of Town Square to see these classic boats up close and admire the craftsmanship and character that make them such a special part of Green Lake’s boating tradition. The display is a great addition to a day spent exploring all that Harvest Fest has to offer in downtown Green Lake.

Join the Dairy State Baggers for two days of cornhole during Green Lake’s Harvest Fest weekend on the Mill Pond Terrace behind Town Square Community Center.
Saturday features a Doubles Tournament for $30 per team, followed by a Singles Tournament on Sunday for $15 per person. Multiple divisions may be offered, and players are guaranteed a minimum of six games each day.
Sign up through the Scoreholio app to join the tournament and enjoy some friendly competition during Harvest Fest.

Discover the art of fermentation in this hands-on workshop with Daniela Pacurar of Transylvania Girl Homestead. Learn how to make three delicious fermented drinks—kombucha, probiotic soda, and kvass—while gaining a better understanding of the fermentation process and how to confidently create these flavorful beverages at home.
Each participant will go home with two starter cultures (one for kombucha and one for probiotic soda) to begin their own fermentation journey. Daniela will share practical tips, techniques, and recipes to help you brew healthy, refreshing drinks at a fraction of the cost of store-bought options.
Your registration also includes one drink to enjoy during class, with the bar open for additional purchases. This two-hour workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone interested in learning the basics of fermentation in a fun, relaxed, and social setting.
Prices in registration include a 3.5% transactional fee.

Ecstatic Dance is a free-form, meditative movement experience where participants move freely to music, release stored energy, and connect with their body, emotions, and inner rhythm. This welcoming session offers a chance to explore movement in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment—no dance experience needed.
Guided by simple principles, participants move in silence, follow their own rhythm, and respect personal space. Barefoot or socks are encouraged, and guests are asked to arrive clear and present.
This experience can support relaxation, self-expression, emotional release, creativity, and a deeper sense of connection with yourself and others.

The Green Lake Fine Art Show returns for its 53rd year, bringing artists, live music, food, and creativity to downtown Green Lake for a vibrant summer weekend by the lake.
This juried outdoor art show features talented artists from across the Midwest showcasing painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, ceramics, fiber arts, glass, woodwork, and more. Visitors can stroll through downtown, meet the artists, enjoy local food and drinks, and experience the charm of Green Lake all weekend long.
The event also includes a Youth Art Zone, live demonstrations, and activities for all ages, making it a fun and inspiring experience for the entire family.
