Join us for a special evening dedicated to celebrating the incredible volunteers who help make Town Square possible. After a busy and successful summer filled with events, programs, and community gatherings, it's time to relax, reconnect, and celebrate everything we've accomplished together.
Enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner from J's BBQ, refreshing drinks, yard games, and a beautiful evening on the Mill Pond Terrace. This celebration is designed to be a casual, low-pressure opportunity to meet fellow volunteers, connect with new people, and enjoy the company of others who share a passion for serving our community.
Whether you've volunteered at events, greeted visitors at the front desk, helped with programs, worked behind the scenes, or pitched in wherever needed, this evening is our way of saying thank you. We couldn't do it without you, and we look forward to celebrating with you.

Join us for lunch on the Mill Pond Terrace (located at the rear of the Town Square Building at 492 Hill St) the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from June to August. The Dartford Historical Society will cover a new topic each time, diving into fun and interesting facts about Green Lake’s rich history. Following the talk will be a Q&A session. This program is rain or shine.

Join us for a Kids Financial Literacy Workshop presented by Brittani Tiffany from BMO. This interactive session will introduce kids to important money skills and help them start building smart financial habits.
The main focus will be on saving money, including different methods and ways to build a savings account. If time allows, the workshop will also briefly cover what a credit score is and why it matters.
Open to all kids 8 and up.
Come learn, ask questions, and start building strong money skills for the future!

Join us for a Certified CPR Training Course through the American Heart Association, hosted by the Green Lake County Health Department. This class provides hands-on instruction and essential skills to help you respond confidently in emergency situations.
Participants will learn life-saving techniques while gaining increased confidence, faster emergency response skills, and a valuable certification that may meet job requirements.

Celebrate 33 Years of Compassion

Join the Green Lake Area Animal Shelter for a special evening celebrating 33 years of compassion, community, and care for animals. Gather with friends and fellow supporters as we honor the shelter’s journey, the people who make its work possible, and the many paws whose lives have been changed along the way.
Enjoy heavy appetizers, a cash bar, special guests, and a few surprises throughout the evening. Guests can also browse pet-inspired artwork by Art MidWisconsin artists displayed in the Town Square lobby throughout September, with 10% of art sales benefiting the animal shelter, and shop exclusive GLAAS merchandise.
All are welcome to join this celebration and help support the Green Lake Area Animal Shelter’s continued work in our community.

Golden Days Harvest Fest in Green Lake is a fun-filled weekend. The entire town celebrates and comes alive. Town Square has some fun activities for the whole family, join us!
Build a Scarecrow
10am - 2pm
A family fun experience - join us on Town Square Terrace to design and make your very own scarecrow. Don't worry - we have everything you need. When you’re done you can walk your scarecrow in the Harvest Fest Parade which begins at 4 pm.
Scarecrows are $20 and walk ins are welcome.
Wooden Boat Rides
10 am - 2 pm
Once again, Harvest Fest Boat Rides with Norton Boat Works will be offered at Green Lake's Harvest Fest weekend!
Take a 20-minute ride on Green Lake in a 1937 22' Chris Craft utility hard top boat. Rides from the pier are $20 per person with the proceeds benefiting your Town Square Community Center.
Tickets will be sold by volunteers at the pier by the Deacon Mills Park in Downtown Green Lake from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Saturday only.

Ecstatic Dance is a free-form, meditative movement experience where participants move freely to music, release stored energy, and connect with their body, emotions, and inner rhythm. The Green Lake Fine Art Show returns for its 53rd year, bringing artists, live music, food, and creativity to downtown Green Lake for a vibrant summer weekend by the lake.
This juried outdoor art show features talented artists from across the Midwest showcasing painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, ceramics, fiber arts, glass, woodwork, and more. Visitors can stroll through downtown, meet the artists, enjoy local food and drinks, and experience the charm of Green Lake all weekend long.
The event also includes a Youth Art Zone, live demonstrations, and activities for all ages, making it a fun and inspiring experience for the entire family.
Free and open to the public.

The group is open to anyone caring for a loved one, with a purpose of providing mutual support, ideas, and understanding in a caring and confidential environment.
Following the initial meeting on Sept. 20, the support group will meet from 10-11:30 a.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month in Town Square’s Club Room. There is no charge to participate.

Bracketing & Focus Stacking with Ken Martin

Join the Town Square Photography Group for a special presentation by Kenneth J. Martin of Ken Martin Photography. A past president and current Executive Board Member of the Wisconsin Professional Photographers Association (WPPA), Ken will share techniques for bracketing and focus stacking, including how to capture, process, and blend images, as well as how to take your camera out of Auto or Program mode to create more advanced photographs.
Please bring paper and a pencil if you'd like to take notes during the presentation. Afterward, attendees are invited to share up to 10 photos on a flash drive for group discussion and feedback. Whether you're new to photography or an experienced photographer looking to expand your skills, this is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. Guests are welcome, so bring a friend!

Calling all kids ages 8 and up. Fun, friends, and food...what kid doesn't like that? Kathy McCarthy of Mill Street Haven and Cooking School will be leading this fun, interactive camp.
It’s a three-day cooking and baking camp, 9 - 11:30 am & 1 - 3:30 pm, July 27 - 29. Kids will get hands-on experience and enjoy their creations. The goal is to have fun while they learn the joy of cooking and baking delicious meals and treats they can make for their families.
They will learn safe kitchen practices, work with fractions (measuring), learn to handle baking and cooking tools, and gain cooking confidence.
