Whether you are looking to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art or want to create your own masterpiece, Acrylic Pour Painting gives you great creative latitude. The class starts with a brief demonstration of the basic acrylic pour techniques. You’ll learn how to make the right consistency for the paint, how to layer your colors, flip the cup on the canvas, and then how to allow the paint to pour over the canvas to create your own unique design. You’ll then work alongside the instructor as you develop your own painting.

About the instructor: Green Lake resident Marcia Jackson is often referred to as the Gypsy Woman Artist. Born in the New York City area, she graduated from Stony Brook University and, since then, has lived in Jew Jersey, southern California, Utah, Nevada, Illinois, Colorado, Minnesota, and, of course, Wisconsin. The daughter of a watercolor artist, she developed a love for color and design at an early age and now combines this appreciation with her rich life experience to create unique color combinations for dramatic effects.
