Town Square Lobby Artist Gallery Reception Featuring Ginger White

In January, the Town Square Community Center lobby will feature work from local artist Ginger White. The pieces on display will include her current pen and ink and more. You can meet Ginger personally at the socially-distanced artist reception scheduled for Friday, January 8, 5 to 6 p.m.

Meet the Artist: Ginger has been retired and living in Green Lake since 2006 over on the Terrace side of the lake. Ginger and her husband Jim lived in Virgil, Illinois, and were in the specialized trucking business. They love to travel and have been from Alaska to Australia and New Zealand. Europe and the Caribbean. Everywhere she goes, she has a sketchbook and a tin of watercolors go with her.

After many years of being an avid tennis player and golfer, Ginger started painting in watercolors. When she moved up to Green Lake, she became a student of Pat Dobrinska's in 2005 and has been in love with painting in the outdoors ever since. They have eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Ginger also loves to play the piano, knit and crochet, and garden in the summer. Green Lake is like a love affair she will never grow tired of.
