In December, the Town Square Community Center lobby will feature work from local resident Heather Bethke. The pieces on display will include her photography. You can meet Heather personally at the artist reception scheduled for Friday, December 3, 5 to 6 p.m.

My name is Heather Bethke and I live in Green Lake County on the southeast end of Big Green Lake with my husband, Jesse, and my two daughters, Natalee and Brynlee. Jesse and I have been married for 10 years, together for 17. We raise honey bees and chickens as a hobby. I work for a mechanical contracting company in Fond du Lac as a project coordinator and I love my job. I never thought construction would be something that would capture my interest, but it certainly has done just that for the past 8 years. My family and I love the outdoors and exploring all it has to offer. Which is where my love of photography has come in to play. All the wildlife and landscapes just grab my attention and don't let go until I have a photo of them. I dabble in photographing people, but nature and it's beauty are my true calling. I have loved being behind a camera since high school. I dabbled with photography in high school and just picked it back up about 3 years ago. I love sharing my love of nature with others through my photography.
