Does your child love to sing? Love to dance? Jo Ellen Madden invites students ages 8-12 to her Broadway Music Camp held at Town Square Community Center. The kids will learn to sing It’s a Hard Knock Life from Annie, I Just Can’t Wait to be King, from Lion King, A Whole New World from Aladdin, Popular from Wicked and Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast. They will also choreograph these songs, learn about stage presence, costume, and performing, all culminating in fun shows for the public on Friday, July 24 at 10:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Camp Times: 9:00 a.m. to Noon, Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24.

Kids are to bring their lunch to be eaten at 11:30 a.m. each day with other campers and Mrs. Madden.

About the Instructor: Jo Ellen Madden loves sharing her joy of music with children who love music too. She has been director of a children’s choir in Evanston, Illinois for 27 years, and just last May took her 50-member choir to sing the National Anthem at the Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Jo Ellen is a Green Lake advocate and so enjoys this community and all that it offers.
