Learn how to “paint with tissue paper”. You will learn to turn tissue paper into a piece of beautiful art on canvas.

Sue Benesch has lived in the U.P. For 40 years including living off- grid on the Stonington Peninsula. Long, quiet hours were spent concentrating on ways tissue paper, typically known as a children’s craft, is turned into adult art. The finished product has been mistaken for watercolor because of the layer after layer of transparencies that tissue paper takes on.

The project for October is called Fall Leaves. All materials are supplied and you will leave the class with a unique piece of art on canvas to decorate your home or give as a gift.
