492 Hill Street is getting a Bourbon Street makeover on March 1. Join us on Fat Tuesday for a decadent feast of gumbo, king cake, and hurricanes in celebration of Mardi Gras.
The main event is a Gumbo Cookoff - Bring your best gumbo and win prizes! Attendees will vote for their favorites, so make sure you bring your friends and family to vote for yours! The winning gumbo will be announced at 7:00 pm. The winner receives 2 tickets to the April 23 Wisconsin Supper Club featuring Elvis.
After you taste and vote for your favorite gumbo, have a slice of traditional New Orleans King Cake. The King Cake is baked with a small plastic baby hidden inside, the person who gets the slice with the baby in it has to host the party next year, so indulge with caution!
There will be a 50/50 cash raffle! Participants receive beads…who doesn’t need more Mardi Gras beads!
Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler: is a Cajun French saying that means "let the good times roll." It's become a mantra of Mardi Gras throughout the years. Come on down to Town Square and Laissez Les Bons Temps Roule!
Get your carnival on with us! Event is free to attend.
