Larry Smith
Larry Smith is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and podcaster known for his laid-back Midwest charm and engaging storytelling style. He has headlined comedy clubs and venues across the region, bringing his relatable perspective to stages ranging from theaters to bars and everything in between. With a knack for weaving together stories of fatherhood, everyday life, and personal misadventures, Larry delivers humor that feels both genuine and effortlessly entertaining. He is also the creator and host of Convince Me with Larry Smith on NPRIllinois, where his conversational style and quick wit continue to connect with audiences on and off the stage.
Trevor Anderson
Trevor Anderson is a Wisconsin-born, Minneapolis-based stand-up comedian who has been making a name for himself across the Midwest for over a decade. Known for his intelligent, charmingly enthusiastic style, Trevor connects easily with audiences through quick wit and clean, quirky observations on everyday life and family. His debut album Stay At Home Dude was released on Ghost Runner Records and has been featured on SiriusXM’s Pure Comedy and Jeff & Larry’s Comedy Roundup. Trevor has performed alongside comedians such as Adam Ray, Pete Lee, Charlie Berens, and Chad Daniels, and has appeared at festivals including 10,000 Laughs, SnoJam, and the Aspen Comedy Festival, where he was a winner of the Rooftop Comedy College Competition.
Joanie Scannell
By day, she’s GI Joanie. By night, Chi Funny Girl—serving up brutally honest, laugh-out-loud comedy straight from the front lines of healthcare and life itself. Consider this your prescription for laughter. Joanie Scannell is proof that patience, humor, and caffeine (or booze, when appropriate) are essential in both worlds. With over 33 years in nursing, including 20 years in gastroenterology, she brings sharp, sarcastic humor inspired by life’s most uncomfortable moments.
