A Peek in Green Lake’s Attic

Archaeological Finds

This winter, join us at Town Square for a three-part Saturday morning series celebrating the history tucked away in our community’s own “attic.” Each session runs from 10 am to noon and welcomes 25–30 guests for a hands-on look at local artifacts, toys, and school memories.

  • Saturday, January 10 — Archaeological Finds
Presenter Eric Rattering shares Native American projectile points and artifacts found in the Green Lake area, some dating back over 1,000 years.

  • Saturday, February 14 — Toys from Yesteryear
A playful look at marbles, Tinker Toys, and the childhood favorites that entertained generations.

  • Saturday, March 14 — Green Lake School Days
Explore textbooks, uniforms, senior keepsakes, and stories from 1890 through the 1990s.

A welcoming, nostalgic winter series for anyone who loves Green Lake’s history. Join us at Town Square and take a peek into the past.
