Bird & Nature Club
At the first meeting of the fall, Tom Schultz will be doing a presentation called “The Amazing World of Owls!” He’ll be taking a look at the 12 species of owls that have been recorded in Wisconsin, and examine some of the neat adaptations that make them special.
We’ll plan to meet in the Ballroom at Town Square (up the steps from the lobby), starting at 6:00 PM. If you’d prefer not having to use the steps to get upstairs, the elevator can be accessed by entering from the rear of the building and after coming down the hallway, take the hall to the right.
As usual, if anyone wishes to bring a snack to share with the group, that would be great!
If you’d like, come prepared to share any interesting bird or nature observations that you’ve had recently… or perhaps over the summer!
The Green Lake Bird and Nature Club meets every second Tuesday of the month, from September through May. This meeting will take place in the Club Room at Town Square.
This meeting will be the club’s annual Christmas Party! Join your fellow bird lovers on Tuesday, December 10 at 6pm for snacks, games, and good company! They'll talk about the upcoming Green Lake Christmas Bird Count, which is traditionally done on December 31.
We welcome anyone with an interest in birds and nature to attend. Join their Facbeook Group for more information or call President Tom Schultz at 920-960-1796.
